The Amazing Digital Circus is an indie black comedy webseries about a young woman named Pomni who gets trapped in a virtual circus with 5 other humans at the mercy of Caine, the ringleader and an AI. The show was created by Goosexworx.

TADC currently has four episodes out. The pilot aired on Youtube on October 13, 2023. The second episode aired May 3, 2024. The third episode aired October 4th, 2024. The fourth episode aired December 13th, 2024. The pilot went viral, being among the most-watched animation pilots in the history of Youtube.

I watched the pilot a week or so after it came out when I saw some of my mutuals on Twitter posting about it. I liked it. I really like Pomni and Ragatha. I'm interested to see where this show goes and if any of my theories come true.

Main Cast

Pomni

Pomni is the main protagonist of The Amazing Digital Circus. She is the most recent human to enter the world of the digital circu after putting on a headset. Pomni is at first very anxious to find a way out of the circus, but is eventually coming around to making the best of her new home.

Ragatha

Ragatha is one of the main characters of the show. She tries to maintain the peace in the digital circus and stay on friendly terms with almost everyone. She tries to make Pomni feel welcome in the digital circus. Recent episodes suggest that there is more to thi ragdoll than she lets on.

Jax

Jax is another main character in the show. Jax is an asshole who takes pleasure in making the lives of the other digital circus members miserable, particularly Gangle. He grows frustrated when his mischief does not give him his usual results.

Kinger

Kinger is another main character in the show. His time in the digital circus has caused him to become out of it. He is usually incoherent to others except when he is in the dark. He had a wife who inspired his love for entomology in the digital circus, but she had abstracted.

Zooble

Zooble is another main character in the show. They openly dislike Caine and his adventures, and often skips out on participating in them. It is revealed that Zooble is insecure with themselves and is miserable as a result. Nevertheless, they appear to be close with Gangle.

Gangle

Gangle is another main character of the show. With her happy mask, Gangle is cheerful and excitable. But this those not last long, as her happy mask usually breaks and leaves her with her sad mask. This version of Gangle is usually timid, meek, and constantly on the verge of tears. Gangle is shown to have passions in the real world that she was forced to give up for a more stable career.

Caine

Caine is the antagonist of The Amazing Digital Circus, and the ringleader of the aformentioned circus.Caine is the one who sends the other cast members on adventures. It is all he knows.

Bubble

Bubble is Caine's assistant. He is typically shown talking out of turn, interrupting Caine, or otherwise antagonizing him. It's fucking hilarious.
